Cheetahs, Coffee, and Connections at the Corelation Annual Conference
We can’t believe it’s already been a month since the Corelation conference. Our memories of San Diego include fantastic conversations and insights, a lot of espresso, and a story involving a cheetah named Ilangha and a very good dog named Elvis.

Last month, the Bankjoy team attended the Corelation Annual Conference as a platinum sponsor and we brought along some amazing experiences. As always, the Corelation conference brought together credit union professionals, partners, and innovators for several days of learning, collaboration, and some unforgettable moments.
Fueling the Conversation One Cup at a Time
Our booth was hard to miss, especially for coffee lovers! We hosted a latte cart right on the conference floor and the response was overwhelming! Over the course of the conference’s two days, we served more than 500 cups to attendees who quickly made our booth a popular pit stop between sessions.
There's something about a genuinely great cup of coffee that opens people up, and that's exactly what we experienced. The latte cart became a gathering point, a reason to linger, and a natural starting place for conversations about how we can help credit unions better serve their members. We're grateful to everyone who stopped by and yes, we heard you, the latte cart was a hit!

Innovations on and off Stage
The Bankjoy team also participated in the vendor speed round session on the main stage, where our CEO and Co-Founder Mike Duncan was joined by 2 Bankjoy clients to talk about the real value we’re bringing to actual Bankjoy users. Along with other vendors, we were given 7 minutes to talk about Bankjoy, and we wanted to take the opportunity to let the audience hear from their peers, not just us, about how our platform helps them.
We carried this philosophy through to our booth presence where, alongside the latte cart, we showcased our “Demo Lab”, an interactive experience that allowed participants to get a hands on experience on phones and tablets of what the Bankjoy digital banking platform looks and feels like to end users. Beyond a classic demo this experience allowed users to get a first hand look at how their account holders would experience digital banking if they were to use Bankjoy, how it would change if they adopted more products, and how common points of friction can be overcome by great digital banking software.

An Evening at the San Diego Zoo
As always, Bankjoy hosted our annual Corelation Conference Afterparty. This year we moved the party from the rooftop to the treetops, shifting from our usual venue of the Rustic Root’s rooftop, to the treetop room and deck at the San Diego Zoo. The change in venue drew our largest crowd ever, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable evenings any of us have spent at an industry event. The setting alone was extraordinary: the zoo after hours, with cocktails in hand, surrounded by some of the world's most remarkable animals, but the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the animal encounter. Guests gathered for an up-close introduction to many of the zoo’s animals, learning about owls, hedgehogs, and others before the star of the show Ilangha, one of the zoo's resident cheetahs came out to say hi with Elvis, her emotional support dog.
Elvis, a golden retriever mix with an irresistible personality, has been Ilangha's constant companion since they were young the two live together around the clock. Watching them side by side was something none of our guests will soon forget. The only things that go together better than Ilangha and Elvis are Bankjoy’s digital banking with Corelation’s Keystone core.

More Than a Conference
The Corelation Annual Conference is always an important event in our calendar, but this year felt especially meaningful. Our platinum sponsorship reflects our deep commitment to the credit union space and to Corelation's community of clients and partners. We are reminded how much impact the philosophy of serving the community has when we gather at events like this.
We came away from San Diego energized by the connections we made, the conversations we had, and the lattes we drank. The memory of Elvis calmly sitting beside Ilangha while a crowd of credit union professionals looked on in complete delight will be an experience none of us are likely to forget.
We'll see you next year!
